BACH Festival opening is May 10

The Bach Choir of Bethlehem will hold their 112th annual Bach Festival opens at 8 p.m. May 10 at Packer Memorial Church, 18 University Drive, and runs May 11 through 12 and 18 through19 at various Lehigh University and Moravian community locations.

There will be guest artists-in-residence, featured young musicians, lectures and chorale sings with the audience. The event’s highlight is the performance of the Mass in B Minor by J.S. Bach, first premiered in America at the first Bethlehem Bach Festival in 1900.
