Madeline “Midge” M. Artim, 88, of Whitehall, died April 19, 2019. She was the wife of the late Joseph Artim for 45 years.

Born in Beaver Meadows, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Mihalik) Petock.

She was a layout operator and had retired from Lucent, formerly Western Electric.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church and was a volunteer receptionist in the rectory for many years. She was a member of the church’s Golden Agers.

She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.

She is survived by three children, Anita Siefert of Washington, Gary and his wife Emily Douglas of California and David of Northampton; five grandchildren, Mark and Lynn Siefert, Alexandra and her husband Josh Miller and Travis and Tyler Artim; two great-granddaughters Riley and Brynn; a goddaughter, Mary Ellen; nieces; nephews; and extended family.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Baran and Barbara Burcak; and five brothers, Michael, John, Joseph, Nicholas and George Petock.

Services will be private.
