Betty “Nana” Lou Walck, 91, of Northampton, died April 20, 2019. She was the wife of the late Luther Walck.
Born in Cementon, she was the daughter of the late Edwin S. Koehler and Irene P. (Shingler) Koehler-Klingman.
She was a private duty nurse most of her working career, caring for individuals in their homes. She was last employed at Gracedale County Home, Nazareth, for 15 years before retiring in 1988.
She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Northampton.
She was a past member of the Alliance Fire Company auxiliary, Northampton.
She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Lee Rehatchek and her companion Donald Paly of Catasauqua and Beth L. and her husband Raymond Gerstenberg of Northampton; seven grandchildren, Thomas II and his wife Vanessa, Jodie and wife Erin, Matthew, Nicole, Melanie, Chad and his wife Kristie and Brandy and wife Erica; five great-grandchildren, Alexis, Morgan, Colyn, Alyssa and Kassia; and a great-great-granddaughter, Priscilla.
She was predeceased by a son, Terry K. Walck.
There will be a visitation hour 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., both April 25 at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067.
