Jane E. Takacs, 77, of Kutztown, died April 12, 2019, in Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit, Allentown.

She and her husband Michael T. Takacs were married 57 years last November.

Born in Elizabeth, N.J., she was the daughter of George J. and Jane E. (Skiba) Kotch.

She was a certified nursing assistant at Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown, for six years.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Kutztown.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Verna Fisher of Slatington, Ann Erb of Bath, Mary Takacs-Moore and her husband, Darin, of Limeport and Barbara Takacs and husband, Scott Cahill, of Fleetwood; and six grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother George Kotch.
