Richard E. Slotter, 86, of Northampton, died April 12, 2019. He was the husband of the late Fern (Behler) Slotter and Denise (Faust) Slotter.

He was the son of the late Clarence and Hattie (Muth) Slotter.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Northampton.

He is survived by three nieces, Karen Deibert, Lisa Katney and Patti Rupert; three nephews, Tim Deibert with Susan, Mark Munjone and Barton Behler III; a grand-nephew, Matt Deibert; a grandniece, Sarah Deibert; six cousins, Kenny Rayden, Joanne Kaintz, Nancy Hammer, Dorothy Rayden, Claudia Kleppinger Knowles and Betsy Horst Allison; a mother-in law, Cindy Faust; a brother-in-law, David Faust; and two stepchildren, Joseph and Kristen Weber.

He was predeceased by a sister, Marian Deibert; and a brother, Samuel Slotter.
