The Parkland boys lacrosse team improved to 5-0 with a 17-0 win over Liberty Tuesday.
The Trojans were led by five goals and three assists from Greg Santa-Anna. Sam Schmidt added two goals and two assists, while Zach Poremba scored two goals and assisted on one. Eight other Trojans had one goal apiece in the win.
Parkland’s closest game this season came last Thursday, March 28, against Central Catholic.
James Cipolla scored the game-winning goal in overtime to give the Trojans an 11-10 win. Cipolla had two goals and two assists in the win. Santa-Anna had three goals and Poremba scored two goals and assisted on another. Four other Trojans (Joe Dorenzo, Eli Fisher, Will Filipovits and Max Kistler) had one goal each in the win.
Parkland also owns wins over Southern Lehigh (13-12), Bethlehem Catholic (17-2) and Wilson-West Lawn (10-5) this season. The Trojans play at Pleasant Valley Thursday before hosting Nazareth and Freedom Saturday and Tuesday, respectively.
