The Rev. Daniel E. Lundmark, 75, of Northampton, died March 31, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Allentown. He was the husband of Nancy J. (Klase) Lundmark for 54 years.

Born in Harvey, Ill., he was a son of the late Alfred and Lucille (Foreman) Lundmark.

He was ordained in 1974 as an Assemblies of God minister. He was an assistant pastor for the Miracle Revival Church, Lykens, for four years. He then joined the Assemblies of God. He began pastoring Northampton Assembly of God in 1968 and has been the senior pastor for the past 50 years.

He was known for writing “The Pastor’s Comments,” which have been published weekly in several local newspapers for the past 40 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Samuel P. and wife his Ileata of Brownsboro, Texas; a daughter, Melody J. of Northampton; five brothers, James and his wife Linda of Martinton, Ill., Paul and his wife Gleneva of Kankakee, Ill., and David and his wife Lisa, Peter and his wife Cathy and Joseph, all of Bradley, Ill.; a sister, Rebecca McLaughlin of Cleveland, Tenn; a sister-in-law, Grace Lundmark of Whitehouse, Texas; four grandchildren, Nathan, Isaac, Aaron and Lilyan; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a daughter; La Donna Joy; two brothers, John and Timothy; and two sisters, Lois and Kathryn.

There will be a calling time 9-10 a.m. April 4 at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067. The calling time will be followed by a funeral service at Northampton Assembly of God, 3449 Cherryville Road, Northampton.

Contributions may be made to Bright Hope Pregnancy Support Centers, Allentown Rescue Mission or the Salvation Army, all c/o the funeral home.
