Mary Kumernitsky, 95, of North Whitehall Township, died March 28, 2019, at home. She was the wife of the late John Kumernitsky Sr.

Born in Ormrod, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Dorociak) Fedio.

She retired in 1981 from Western Electric after 35 years of employment.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.

She is survived by two sons, John Jr. and his wife Diane and Michael Frank; a daughter, Kathleen and her husband Edward Walker; a daughter-in-law, Donna Kumernitsky; six grandchildren, Denise, Kristin, Eric, Christopher, Kelsey and Jonathan; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Ella Rose, Lily, Kale, Kaden, Bryce and Brandon; a sister, Ann Schlaffer; and two brothers, Paul and Walter Fedio.

She was predeceased by a son, Neal; a brother, John; and two sisters, Catherine Cocco and Helen Winarchick.
