Lehigh Township: Knights council to hold blood drive
The St. Nicholas Parish Knights of Columbus Council 16656, in partnership with the Miller-Keystone Blood Center, will be sponsoring a blood drive 10 a.m.-1 p.m. April 6 at the church social hall, 1152 Oak Road.
Please come out and support your community by donating blood.

The Lehigh Township Historical Society Finally Spring basket social fundraiser will be held April 7 at Blue Mountain Fish & Game Association, 4190 Wood Drive.
Doors open noon, and the drawing will be 3:30 p.m. Winners do not need to be present to win.
The kitchen will be open as well.
All proceeds benefit the Lehigh Township Historical Society and St. Paul’s Schoolhouse maintenance.

Blue Mountain Fish & Game Association and the Bertsch-Hokendauqua-Catasauqua Watershed Association are pleased to host a free wildlife program 6:30 p.m. April 12 in the Blue Mountain Fish & Game Association clubhouse.
The program follows the first spring trout stocking at the club lake 5 p.m.
Food and beverages will be available between stocking and the program.
The Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is a refuge where injured or orphaned wildlife critters are cared for until they are healthy enough to be released into their natural habitat. Those animals too badly injured to be released become educational ambassadors.

The 21st annual spring basket social at Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, will be held April 12. Doors open 4 p.m., and the ticket drawing begins 7:30 p.m.
Refreshments, including baked goods, will be sold.
Those planning to attend are asked to bring a nonperishable item for the food bank.
If you are interested in donating something for this event, drop off a theme basket, gift card with receipt, bottled water, soda or baked goods 6-8 p.m. April 11 or 10 a.m.-noon April 12.

Bethany Wesleyan Church, 675 Blue Mountain Drive, will hold an autism respite 11 a.m.-3 p.m. April 13 for children ages 2 to 21 diagnosed with autism and siblings with or without a diagnosis.
There will be crafts, play, social interaction and a lunch of hot dogs, chicken fingers, chips and a drink. Please provide lunch if your child is on a restricted diet.
The program is free to attend, but donations are accepted.

Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, will hold a family movie night April 27. Come to the free showing of “Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey.” Show time is 6:30 p.m., and doors open 6 p.m.
Hot dogs, popcorn and drinks will be provided.
For your comfort, bring a chair or blanket.
