Rose J. Filipovits, 91, of Northampton, died March 23, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest Hospice. She was the wife of the late William “Herby” Filipovits for 47 years.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Rose (Sipos) Gratzel.

She worked at the former Cross Country Clothes for over 25 years until she retired.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton.

She is survived by a son, Bill and his wife Joan; a daughter, Karin and her husband Ted Foster Jr.; four grandchildren, Kristin Filipovits and her fiance Christian Polidoro, Timothy Filipovits, Sarah and her husband Chad Coffey and Meredith and her husband Bob Hudome; and two great-grandsons, Mason Hudome and Cameron Coffey.

She was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Sharkazy; and a brother, Charles Gratzel.

There will be a calling hour 10-11 a.m., followed by funeral services 11 a.m. March 30 at the funeral home, 326 E. 21 St., Northampton, 18067.
