Bath: Gun club to hold basket social

Petersville Rod & Gun Club, 550 Club Road, will be having a basket social 4:30-9 p.m. March 29 and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. March 30 and 31. The drawing will be 4 p.m. March 31.

The event is sponsored by Dream Come True to benefit chronically and terminally ill children.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will be having a cleanup day March 30. Start time is 9 a.m.

It’s time to spruce up the cemeteries and outside space for Easter. Remember to bring your own yard tools, gloves, etc.

Please remove all Christmas arrangements by March 29. Easter arrangements cannot be placed before Palm Sunday.

The rain date is April 6.

Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 115 Washington St., will be having a Lenten fish dinner 4:30-7 p.m. April 5 in the parish auditorium. This is for eat in or take out.

Also available for adults is flounder stuffed with crabmeat.

Porter-Chapman Masonic Lodge 637 F&AM, 1103 Sixth St., North Catasauqua, will be holding a budget-friendly, all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner fundraiser 4-7 p.m. April 6.

Proceeds benefit Northampton Area Food Bank.

The women’s group at Emmanuel Lutheran Church will be hosting an event where you get to make your own Easter bonnet. The event is set for 7 p.m. April 8.

Everyone will be asked to make an Easter bonnet out of paper plates but decorated with materials that you bring in. While working, participants will learn more about how some of the Easter traditions and customs got started.

There will be prizes for the most creative bonnet designs.

Come out for a fun night, and bring a friend!

Governor Wolf Historical Society will hold its next monthly meeting 7 p.m. April 9 at the GWHS campus, 6600 Jacksonville Road.
