Jean M. Villano

Jean M. Villano, 87, of Coopersburg, died March 14, 2019, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Thomas L. Villano Jr.

Born Oct. 28, 1931, in Carbondale, Lackawanna County, she was the daughter of the late Richard A. and MaryAnn (Kulak) McAllister.

She co-owned with her late husband, the former Tom’s Glass and Mirror Service, Allentown, from 1972-18.

She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Coopersburg, and Newton Lake Association.

She worked from the time she was a teenager as a waitress during summers in the Catskills.

She also held positions at Allen Lingerie and Western Electric.

The position she held most dear was that of a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother as she cherished her family.

She was an avid traveler who enjoyed vacationing in Aruba, Rio deJaneiro, Israel and the Grand Cayman Islands, just to name a few.

She also enjoyed her vacation home that was purchased by her and her husband in 1977 at Newton Lake in Clifford.

An excellent cook, she enjoyed having family and friends over for good meals and great conversation.

Her sense of humor was unmatched, often becoming the life of the party.

She enjoyed capturing fond moments by taking tons of pictures at every event she felt was important.

She will be greatly missed for her laughter and sense of humor, not to mention the countless Polish and Italian food she served her family and friends.

Her survivors include children Marina T., wife of Frank R. Pascarelli, of Marietta, Ga., Thomas L. Villano III and his companion, Debra J. Suto, of Allentown, Jeanine M. Villano-George and her husband, Earl P. George, of Walnutport; grandchildren Kelly M. Strybuc (Stephen), Meghan J. Draper (Clinton), Amalia R. Flecksteiner, Anthony T. George; great-grandchildren Gianna M. Villano, Aubrey R. Draper, Layla M. Strybuc.

She was predeceased by a brother, William McAllister, and a great-granddaughter, Lilly Strybuc.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. March 22 at St. Joseph Church, 5050 St. Joseph’s Road, Coopersburg.

Family and friends may pay their respects 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, and 9-10 a.m. Friday in the church.

Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery, Coopersburg.
