LCCC to host FAFSA completion nights

Lehigh Carbon Community College has scheduled FAFSA completion nights at both the main campus in Schnecksville and the Donley Center in Allentown.

Current and future applicants for fall 2019 enrollment are encouraged to attend a free work session with LCCC financial aid staff who will guide applicants through the FAFSA form completion and submission process.

FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and is a critical component for students applying for financial aid.

Bring the following items to the meeting: A copy of your 2017 income tax return, Social Security cards for students and/or parents, any untaxed income from 2017 (e.g. payments to tax deferred pensions and savings plans, tax exempt interest and child support received in 2017), and documentation of U.S. permanent resident or other eligible noncitizen.

All students and/or parents are required to create a FSA ID at fsaid.ed.gov in order to sign his/her FAFSA electronically.

Apply at any time for the FSA ID.

Anyone creating a FSA ID will need their own separate email account.

Nearly all financial aid programs at LCCC require the FAFSA to be completed before financial assistance eligibility can be determined.

FAFSA sessions at main campus will take place 4-7 p.m. March 19 and 26; and April 2, 9 and 16. in Room 118D of the Financial Aid Office.

Call 610-799-1133 or email finaid@mymail.lccc.edu for information.

Arrive before 6:15 p.m. to allow enough time to complete the FAFSA application.

FAFSA sessions at LCCC Allentown will be 3-5:45 p.m. March 19 and 26; and April 9 and 16.
