Frances J. Minar, 71, of North Catasauqua, died Feb. 18, 2019, at Phoebe Home, Allentown.
Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Rudolph Minar and the late Ann (Farkas) Minar.
She last worked for the former Leader Nursing Home, Bethlehem, in housekeeping for two years before retiring. She was earlier a sewing machine operator for nine years for the former Key Manufacturing, Northampton; a waitress for Twin Lakes Country Club for many years; and a sewing machine operator for the former Cross Country Clothes, Egypt, until its closing.
She was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Northampton.
She is survived by a daughter, Joely A. and her husband James J. Boyle of Northampton; a brother, Dennis Minar of Columbia, S.C.; a sister, Marie Frisch of Whitehall; nieces; and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, John and Rudy Minar; and three sisters, Leona Gomez, Veronica Frisch and baby Helen.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
