Dorothy “Dot” M. (Ritter) Smith, 96, of Fullerton, died Feb. 6, 2019, at Fellowship Manor. She was the wife of the late Douglas H. Smith.

Born in Fullerton, she was a daughter of the late John P. and Mary R. (Snyder) Ritter.

She was a 1939 Whitehall High School graduate.

She worked in the cafeterias of Whitehall-Coplay School District for many years until she retired.

She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

She is survived by two daughters, Cathy J. Smith of Whitehall and Linda L. Dalsimer of Townson, Md.; three grandchildren, Lisa and her husband James Yamakawa, Kevin and his wife Lisa Dalsimer and Curtis and his wife Kristal Dalsimer; and nine great-grandchildren, Sarah, Jonathan, Rebecca, Dylan, Maurine, David, Robert, Gwen and Nora.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Eleanor Bonner and Jane Franklin; and a brother, John Ritter.
