Carl R. Hawk Jr., 62, of Northampton, died Feb 5, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Carl R. Sr. and Margaret Hawk.

He was a 1974 graduate of Northampton High School.

He was a mechanic for Essroc Cement Company, Nazareth.

He was a member and driver of Lehigh Valley Quarter Midgets, Kuhnsville, and the Tri-Boro Sportsman Association, Northampton; and was a social member of the American Legion Post 470, Bath, and the Twilight Truckers of Lehigh Valley.

He is survived by two sisters, Patricia Stepp of Pottsville and Carol L. and her husband Joseph Milkovits of Northampton; an aunt, Marion Miller of Laurys Station; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
