Robert “Erk” T. Erkinger, 72, of North Catasauqua, died Feb. 4, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Constance “Connie” J. (Snyder) Erkinger for 50 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Angela P. Erkinger.

He was a 1964 graduate of Whitehall High School.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was a roofer for 30 years with the Roofers Union, Local 30, until he retired. He then worked part-time in maintenance at Precision Medical.

He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7923, Egypt, and Coplay American Legion.

He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Adele C. and her husband Stephen W. Lemak; a brother, Richard; a sister-in-law, Jeanette and her husband Thomas Frack; and a grandson, Logan Stephen.
