Hilda R. Burker, 92, of Coplay, died Jan. 2, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Stephen F. Burker.

Born in Stiles, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Julia (Keppel) Nickischer.

She was a seamstress for the former Clyde Clothing Manufacturing.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Stiles.

She was a member of the Franciscan Friars of Easton.

She lived for her children. She was the family rock and, by example, taught her children how to love and believe.

She is survived by three sons, Stephen J. and his wife Carol, David and his wife JoAnn and Bryan Burker; a daughter, Therese and her husband David Royer; a brother, Joseph and his wife Mirla Nickischer; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Rose and Anna; and four brothers, Frank, John, William and Julius.
