St. Lawrence

Frederic H. Short, of Kempton, was selected for a summer 2018 internship fellowship from St. Lawrence University, Canton, N.Y.

Short, a member of the Class of 2020, is majoring in economics and business.

Short, who attended The Gunnery college preparatory school, received the Alumni Executive Council Internship Fellowship and will intern with World of Change in Portland, Maine.

Established in 1997, the Internship Fellowship Award is designed to promote leadership and career development opportunities for undergraduate students.

The award helps to offset living and transportation expenses during the student’s internship experience.
