Elizabeth “Betty” A. Arnold, 85, of Orlando, Fla., and formerly of Hokendauqua, died Jan. 13, 2019, at Orlando Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Alvin Arnold for 67 years.

Born in Whitehall, she was a daughter of the late John and Barbara (Chabak) Churetta.

She was a machine operator for 15 years at the former J.J. Blose Mill, Northampton, before retiring in 1988.

She was a former member of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church in North Catasauqua.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Gregory A. and his wife Janice of Slatington; a daughter, Betty A. Mateer of Harrisburg; a sister, Barbara and her husband Daniel D’Amico of Easton; three grandchildren; one stepgranddaughter; five great-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-granddaughter.
