Alexandra Huston Fuller

Alexandra Huston Fuller, 94, died Jan. 21, 2019, at Willow Brook Farms, where she had resided. She was the wife of the late C. Thomas Fuller of Catasauqua.

Born in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Isabelle D. and Arthur T. Huston.

She was a graduate of Glynn Academy, Brunswick, Ga. She attended Bucknell University.

She taught kindergarten and first grade on Sea Island. She was a model and appeared in Vogue Magazine.

She was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, where she sang with the choir. She was a secretary of St. Stephen’s (Anglican Foundation of the Lehigh Valley Foundation). She was one of the founding members of the Society of the Arts of the Allentown Art Museum. She volunteered at the Home Front Coast Guard Station, St. Simons Island, where she watched for German subs and destroyers during World War II.

She is survived by three children, Holly McLain of Carbondale, Colo., Peter of Catasauqua and Victoria of Chicago, Ill.; five grandchildren, Travis and Afton McLain, both of Aspen, Colo., Nicole Fuller of Rogue River, Ore., Zach Fuller of Catasauqua and Jeremiah Fuller of Miami Beach, Fla.; and a sister, Judith Ely of Concord, N.H.

Services will be private.

Contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 2510 W. Livingston St., Allentown, 18104.
