David F. Shellhammer, 57, of Allentown, died on Jan. 17, 2019, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born Feb. 23, 1961, in Allentown, he was the son of Gary R. and Phyllis S. (Schoch) Shellhammer with whom he resided.

A 1979 graduate of Parkland High School, he formerly was an independent contractor for Eagle Snacks, Lance Crackers and Pepperidge Farm products.

He was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Cedar Union Church, Cetronia, South Whitehall.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by sisters Sandra A. Shellhammer of Breinigsville, Cathy A., wife of John Gregoris III, of Bethlehem, Jill A., wife of Michael Fraser, of Breinigsville; nieces and nephew Nikole, John Michael IV and Sarah.
