Mary Ann C. Milkowich, died Jan. 16, 2019, at her home in Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late James H. Milkowich for 48 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Rezsek) Dance.

She was a 1964 graduate of Kutztown University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education.

She was a kindergarten teacher in the Allentown School District for five years. Later, she taught first grade at the Cathedral of Saint Catharine of Siena School, Allentown, for 23 years before she retired in 2001.

She is survived by a son, James P. and his wife Dawn of Shoreham, N.Y.; a daughter, Kathleen M. and her husband Steven B. Roosa of Langhorne; a sister, Jolan and her husband Stanley Hirshenhorn of Blue Bell; five grandsons, Justin, Zachary, Matthew, Vincent and Jason; and two stepgranddaughters, Grace and Mary.

There will be visitation 7-9 p.m. Jan. 25 and 8-8:45 a.m. Jan. 26 at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067. There will be a Mass of Christian burial 9:30 a.m. Jan. 26 at St. Stephen of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 510 Union St., Allentown.
