Freedom junior Fallon Tatlow made her return to the diving board with a second place finish during the Patriots’ swim meet against Nazareth last Thursday after injuries kept her on the pool deck since the start of the season.
“I think I did really well for my first meet and three days of practice,” Tatlow said. “My front one-and-a-half was really good. My inward dive was also really good.”
Tatlow received sevens on her front one-and-a-half.
“I changed my approach this season for my front dives, so it helps me get higher and stay tighter, and inward are just easy for me, personally,” she said.
This past Saturday was the first EPC Diving Meet of the season, held at Nazareth High School, where Tatlow placed tenth out of 17 female divers. Her score was 308.40.
“I didn’t do my front double [on Thursday], just because I haven’t gotten to it yet, and my back one-and-a-half twist. I just have to get back into it.”
Freedom sophomore Sarah Gill placed fifth at the EPC meet with a score of 364.35, and Cailin Connelly placed 14th with a score of 246.40.
Parkland diver Lexi Lehman won the EPC Diving meet with a score of 445.95.
