Trojans’ Lehman dives to first place at meet

The East Penn Conference held its annual midseason diving meet Saturday at Nazareth.

Parkland’s Lexi Lehman led a dominant effort from the Parkland girls team, winning the event with a score of 445.95 as the Trojans places three divers in the girls top five and six in the top 10.

Logan Choma led Parkland’s boys team with a second-place finish. The Trojan boys team also had three of the top five finishers.

Lehman beat Easton’s Olivia Jacobsen (431.95) by 14 points to take first place. Parkland’s Kate Gottwald (431.25) was third, followed by teammate Alexa Brinker (386.25) in fourth place. The Trojans’ Ally Roth (sixth, 346.80), Aija Tighe (eighth, 331.65), Nicole Stoffko (ninth, 328.85) also finished in the top 10 at the meet, while teammates Ally Carls (283.95), Katey Kunz (233.65), Emily Feyrer (202.75) and Maria DeBerardinis (152.80) also competed in the event.

Emmaus’ Brendan McCourt (551.70) won the boys title with Choma (480.85) and teamamates Ethan Radio (third, 461.40) and Kole Cannon (446.7) following. Parkland’s Michael Salvino (ninth, 319.30) also competed in the meet.
