Public Library of Catasauqua: Catasauqua joins library cooperative

The Public Library of Catasauqua just got a whole lot bigger. As a member of the Lehigh Carbon Library Cooperative (LCLC), the Public Library of Catasauqua is now able to share resources, including more than 500,000 library materials.

The LCLC libraries include Catasauqua, Whitehall, Coplay, Emmaus, Lower Macungie, Parkland, Slatington, Dimmick, Lehighton, Palmerton and Southern Lehigh.

The LCLC will issue all patrons one library card to be used at all locations. Patrons will be able to use their library card at any of the 11 partnering libraries.

You may borrow materials from one and return it to another library listed above. If you need a book from one of the LCLC libraries, we will deliver it to a participating library for you. Reference books do not circulate, as well as some special collections and high-demand materials that are less than 6 months old.

Welcome, Catasauqua library patrons, to the new and greatly improved LCLC library world!
