Edward J. Stachowski, 87, of Orefield, died Jan. 9, 2019, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He was the husband of the late Dorothy L. (Perley) Stachowski.

Born Jan. 21, 1931, in South Bend, Ind., he was the son of the late John and Stella Stachowski.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War era.

A production supervisor at Pepperidge Farm, Downingtown, for many years, he retired in 1988.

He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.

His survivors include son Larry A. and his wife, Susan, with whom he resided; siblings Joseph Stachowski and Jane Puchala, both of South Bend; and grandchildren Monica S. and Jason L. Stachowski.
