Rodnie L. Gruber, 45, from Slatington, died on Dec. 20, 2018, in his home.

Born Oct. 21, 1973, in Allentown, he was the son of Allen C. Gruber Sr. with whom he resided and the late Ruth L. (Jones) Gruber, who died last April.

He owned and operated Gruber Concrete Inc. for the last 25 years.

An avid outdoorsman, he especially enjoying hunting, and formerly drove a racing car at Mahoning Speedway.

In addition to his father. he is survived by daughters Breanna L. Gruber and Skylar R. Gruber, both of Lehighton; brother Allen C. Jr. of Germansville; maternal grandmother Helen (Musselman) Bertsch of Walnutport; and nephews Brandon, Austin and Justin.
