Lehigh County and VALOR will be collecting clothing and critical necessities through Jan. 11 for homeless veterans. Drop-off locations are in the Lehigh County Government Center, 17 S. Seventh St., and in the County Courthouse lobby, 455 Hamilton St., both in Allentown.

Donations needed include new men’s and women’s hats, beanies, mittens, gloves, scarfs, sweatshirts, toiletries, bath soap, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, shave cream, mouthwash, q-tips, hand cream, combs, brushes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, wipes, tissues, feminine hygiene products, emery boards, disposable razors, hand sanitizer, dental floss, lip balm, hair brushes, band aids, wash cloths, bath towels, etc., instant coffee and hot chocolate packets, gift cards from Giant, Weis and Walmart, and one day bus passes.
