Ryan T. Snyder, 28, of Bethlehem, died suddenly Dec. 25, 2018, at home from a left anterior descending coronary artery occlusion. He was the husband of Emily L. (Leibold) Snyder for two years.

Born in Phillipsburg, N.J., he was a son of Timothy J. and Carol D. (Weber) Snyder.

He was a graduate of Northampton Area High School.

For the past three and a half years, he was a mixologist at the Bookstore Speakeasy, Bethlehem. He was previously a longtime life guard for the Nazareth Borough Pool.

He was a 20-year liver transplant recipient and competed with Team Philadelphia where he won many medals and was awarded Athlete of the Year.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a sister, Noelle E. Snyder and her fiance Christopher P. Tsirigotis of Nazareth; in-laws, Richard A. and Lynne Leibold of Northampton; maternal grandparents, Allan C. and Catherine E. Weber and a paternal grandmother, Doris A. Snyder, all of Nazareth; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
