Faith Diane Crouthamel, 79, died Dec. 26, 2018, at her home in Coplay. She was the wife of Samuel A. Crouthamel for over 38 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of John and Christine (Santee) Roberts.

She was a 1957 Emmaus High School graduate.

She worked at PP&L, Allentown, followed by many years with Fuller Company, Catasauqua. She also worked at Rock Hill Concrete Company, Catasauqua. She and her husband co-owned Sac’s Citgo Service, Coplay. She was an Avon regional distributor until the time of her death.

She was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church, Catasauqua, for four decades before its closing in 2007, and was involved in its choir, accounting and fundraising. She then attended services at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Northampton.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for many years. She belonged to local gardening clubs.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Joyce Scheirer of North Catasauqua; two sons, David and his wife Valerie Dougherty of Pittsburgh and Scott and his wife Lynn Dougherty of Omaha, Neb.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four nieces; and one nephew.
