Samuel A. “Sam” DeFiore, 62, of Laurys Station, died Dec. 19, 2018.

He and his wife, Durine M. (Fenstermaker), celebrated their 40th anniversary.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Samuel and Sylvia (Lake) DeFiore.

Employed at Muhlenberg College, Allentown, for 35 years, he was an assistant crew leader in grounds keeping.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Krystal Sue Frantz; brother-in-law Richard Fenstermaker; and stepsister Sally Reese.

His services will be private.
