Johanna T. Legath, 91, of Northampton, died Dec. 23, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospice House. She was the wife of the late Michael J. Legath.
Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Johanna (Dirnthaler) Dischinat.
She was a sewing machine operator for Greiff Company and Tama Manufacturing for many years.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Bath.
She is survived by a son, Robert; two grandsons, Michael and Christian; a brother, Alfred; two sisters, Rose Zatsko and Angela and husband Stephen Paukovits; nieces; and nephews.
She was predeceased by an infant son, Michael; a sister, Anna Daumer; and four brothers, Edward, John, Joseph and Adolph.
There will be a calling hour 11:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m. Dec. 27 at the funeral home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton, 18067. There will be a Mass of Christian burial 2 p.m. Dec. 28 at the church, 117 Washington St., Bath.
Contributions may be made to a Catholic school of one’s choice, c/o the funeral home.
