Joette M. Reitz, 60, of Slatington, died Dec. 11, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of Jeffrey A. Reitz.

Born Feb. 3, 1958, in Allentown, she was the daughter of Lorraine A. (Blose) VanNorman of Slatington and the late Ted C. VanNorman.

She was a customer service representative at Kmart, Walnutport, for the last 25 years.

Before that, she worked at the former Kern’s Furniture, Slatedale, for several years.

She was a 1976 graduate of Northern Lehigh High School.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by children Russell J. Hallman of Slatington and Rebecca H.L. Hallman of Pittsburgh.
