The Parkland wrestling team opened its season with a 61-7 win over Dieruff last week.

The Trojans won 10 of the 12 contested matches, including eight wins by fall.

Joe Dolak (145) had the Trojans fastest pin as he put the Huskies’ Brandon Ferman on his back in 17 seconds. Teammates Nathan Kresge (113), Lucas Kern (126), Brian Diaz (132), Mason Lansenderfer (138), Edwin Moya (160), Garrett Fitzgerald (220) and Cory Border (285) also pinned their opponents in the win. The Trojans’ Jacob Ortman (182) won by major decision and Kale Cummings (152) won by decision, while Gabe Montanez earned a forfeit win.
