William A. LaFrankie, 87, of Schnecksville, died on Dec. 12, 2018, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown Campus.

He and his wife Yvette (Leroux) LaFrankie were married 37 years on May 16.

Born May 27, 1931, in Elizabeth, Allegheny County, he was the son of the late Robert and Susan (Heidrick) LaFrankie.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army, as an military policeman during the Korean War era.

He was the general manager of PET Inc., Allentown, from 1964-95.

He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son William A. and his fiancée Ashley N. LeFurge of Coplay; daughter Katie M. of Schnecksville; brother Raymond and his wife, Dorothy, of Pittsburgh.

He was predeceased by siblings John, James, Robert and Donald and Mary Lou Braum.
