Ronald R. Roth, 86, of Orefield, died Dec. 11, 2018, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown Campus.
He and his wife LaRue M. (Hoffman) Roth were married 45 years on April 7.
Born Oct. 4, 1932, in Slatington, he was the son of the late Howard A. and Hattie E. (Wanamaker) Roth.
A 1950 graduate of Slatington High School, he faithfully and honorably served his county in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era earning the rank of corporal.
He was a truck driver at Dries Building Supply, Macungie, for more than 37 years before retiring.
Before that, he drove truck for the former Charles Husack Building Supplies, Rextown.
A life member of the Allen O. Delke American Legion Post 16, Slatington, he was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Slatedale.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by siblings Adele, Harold, Dallas, Kenneth, Leola, DeTosia, Elaine and Forrest.
