The annual Christmas tree lighting at the Tinsley-Jeter Triangle in Fountain Hill took place Dec. 4 at 4 p.m. The Broughal MS band was there to perform some holiday music. Girl Scout troop 82048 was also there to help celebrate. The American Legion Post 406 members gave out candy and oranges to all the children. The weather held off and there was a great turnout to see the lighting of the tree. All the ornaments on the tree were made by the students of Fountain Hill ES.
