Helen (Rodgers) Gery, 96, of Salisbury Township, died Dec. 7, 2018, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Township. She was married for 60 years to the late John R. Gery, when he passed away June 15, 2004. Born in West Catasauqua, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Mary (Sharkey) Rodgers.

She was a graduate of Whitehall High School.

She was employed at Hess Brothers in the 1940s, was a real estate sales person for Deutsch Realty and A.R. Ulans Realty for 17 years, retiring in 1982.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Allentown.

She is survived by a son, John Drew, of Salisbury Township; granddaughter, Jennifer and her husband John Egan, of Rumson, N.J.; grandson, Brendan, of Allentown; brother, Larry Rodgers, of Catasauqua; great-grandchildren, Sasha Egan and Helena Egan and Colin and Kendra.

A cryptside service will be held 11 a.m. Dec. 13 in the Grandview Mausoleum, 2735 Walbert Ave., Allentown. A calling hour will be held 10:30 to 11 a.m. in the mausoleum. Arrangements were made by the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Allentown.
