Salvatore Villano

Salvatore Villano, 73, of Coplay, died Dec. 10, 2018, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown, surrounded by his loving family.

He and his wife Mary (Mladinich) Villano were married 52 years last July 9.

Born Dec. 13, 1944, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Pasquale and Jenny (Santaniello) Villano.

An accomplished sculptor creating beautiful wire trees, he was also a graphic artist owning and operating the former DesignGroup in Miller Place, Long Island, N.Y. for many years before retiring in 2006.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Egypt, in Whitehall.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by sons John P. (Nina) of Schnecksville, and Peter (Tara) of Falls Church, Va.; siblings Frank of New York City, N.Y., Patricia Morin of Mooresville, N.C., and Maria DeMarinis of Whitestone, N.Y.; grandchildren Kayla, Grace, Charles, JP, Maryann, Nicholas, Bradley, Luke, Isabella and Jack; and great-grandson, Isaac.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Dec. 15 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 4456 Main St., Egypt, Whitehall. The Rev. Msgr. Daniel J. Yenushosky will be the celebrant.

Family and friends may pay their respects 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Dec. 14 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.
