Kenneth David Schneck, 91, of Whitehall, died Nov. 29, 2018, at his residence in Whitehall Manor. He was the husband of the late Helen T. Schneck for 64 years.

Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the late Walter and Edna (Guth) Schneck.

He was a 1945 Whitehall High School graduate.

He was in the U.S. Army band from 1945 to 1946.

He worked for more than 30 years for Verizon, formerly the Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania.

He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton.

He was a saxophone and clarinet player for many years with local bands.

He is survived by a son, Keith and his fiancee Linda Chisholm of Ambler; a daughter, Carol Seagreaves of Northampton; three grandchildren, Stephanie and her husband Kyle Speece and Brian and Christopher Schneck; three great-grandchildren, Connor, Logan and Blake Speece; and two brothers, Roger Schneck of Schnecksville and Robert Schneck of Kansas City, Mo.
