Elaine E. Snyder, 85, formerly of Schnecksville, died Dec. 7, 2018, in Voorhees, N.J.

She was the wife of the late Paul V. Snyder.

Born Feb. 15, 1933, in New Ringgold, Schuylkill County, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd C. and Elberta M. (Shellhammer) Gerber.

A member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall, she was member of the prayer group and W.E.L.C.A.

Her survivors include daughters Sharon K. Darrow and her husband, Dennis, with whom she resided, Judy L. Barnes and her husband, Michael, of Pen Argyl; brothers Donald L. Gerber and his wife, Grace Ann, of Tamaqua, Lamar C. Gerber and his companion, Joanne, of Orwigsburg; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Gail S. Kopf.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Dec. 14 at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, with the Rev. Manuel R. Stivers officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, and 10-11 a.m. Friday in the church.

Interment will follow the service at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
