Thomas A. Bachman Sr., 75, of New Ringgold, formerly of Newside, died Nov. 19, 2018, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown.

He and his wife Patricia C. (Noti) Bachman were married 54 years on Aug. 22.

Born March 15, 1943, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Albert C. and Loretta R. (Bauder) Bachman.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War era.

A chauffeur at Air Products and Chemicals Inc., Trexlertown, for 15 years, he retired in 2003.

Before that, he was a metal finisher at Mack Trucks Inc., Macungie, for 20 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Julianne R. Staskowski and her husband, Thomas, of Emerald, Thomas A. Jr. and his wife, Beth, of Orefield, Pamela J. Weiss and her husband, Timothy, of Slatington; sister Sandra J. Bachman of Allentown; and grandchildren Daniel, Andrew, Christian, Lauren and Brent.
