LaRue E. Anglestein, 84, of Whitehall, died peacefully Dec. 1, 2018, in her home.
She and her husband, Ralston Anglestein, were married 65 years.
Born in Ironton, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Hilda (Gantz) Oswald.
A member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Catasauqua, she was a member of the Altar Guild.
She enjoyed volunteering at the Catasauqua Thrift Shop.
She was a seamstress at the former Fuller Sportswear and Jill Togs for more than 40 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Deborah Frey and husband, John; son Michael and his wife, Barbara (Barna) Anglestein; grandchildren Emily Snyder and husband, Jayson, Aaron Frey, Christopher Anglestein, Stephanie Gardiner and husband, Thomas; great-granddaughters Lilian and Julia; and sister Dorothea Walck.
She was predeceased by her sister Lorene Cleaver and brothers Alton, Ernest and Gerald Oswald.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to a charity of one’s choice.
