Edward John Deichmeister, 77, of Northampton, died Nov. 28, 2018, in his home. He was the husband of Julia Ann (Falk) Deichmeister for 52 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Edward and Julia (Fidler) Deichmeister.

He was an assembler for Ingersoll Rand for 27 years and later for Allentown Equipment for seven years.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton.

He was a member of the Coplay trap shooting team, East Bath and Lappawinzo rod and gun clubs and Grouse Hall.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Edward; a daughter, Kathy and her husband Don; a sister, Dolores; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Dennis.
