Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, is having a decorating party 10 a.m. Dec. 13.

Come and help decorate the worship spaces for Christmas.

Emmanuel’s is also helping the Bath Area Food Bank by collecting canned fruit, toilet paper and paper towels. Also appreciated will be canned yams or sweet potatoes and Stove Top stuffing.

Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, is having a cookie sale. Come to the firehouse 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 16 and fill a box with cookies.

There will be cutouts, thumbprints, snowballs, chocolate chip, lemon crinkle, orange Julius, gingerbread, molasses, peanut butter, cherry blossom and more!

The pricing is by the pound.

Klecknersville Rangers is now preparing for the annual Santa Run Dec. 22.

Gifts can be dropped off 6:30-8 p.m. Dec. 10 and 17.

Gifts should be clearly labeled with the child’s name and address. Provide the best contact phone number on all presents.

There is a small donation per house.

The Governor Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road, will hold its next monthly meeting 7 p.m. Dec. 11 on the GWHS campus.

Also, the Governor Wolf Historical Society Museum will be open to the public 1-3 p.m. Dec. 15. Tours of the society’s campus are offered.
