Arnold Calvin Wingrove, 94, died Nov. 27, 2018. He was the husband of Pearl (Meyer) Wingrove for 74 years.

Born in South Williamsport, he was a son of the late Arnold Carmine and Cora Mae (Snyder) Wingrove.

He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He survived the Battle of Okinawa while serving on the USS Aaron Ward DM34.

He worked in the painting business.

He was formerly an active member of Mt. Pocono Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert Leroy and Kathy; two granddaughters, Dottie and her husband Tim Reeves and their children Autumn, Joey, Bradley and Brandon and Jeannie and her husband Chris Muthard and their son Matthew; a daughter-in-law, Helen Wingrove; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Paul Edward Wingrove; brothers; and a sister.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
