Ethel M. (Reiss) Boyer, 86, of Macungie, died Nov. 15, 2018, in Kutztown Manor Nursing Home, Kutztown. She was the wife of the late Harold C. Boyer, who died Sept. 5, 2010. Born in Emmaus, she was a daughter of the late Henry M. and Ruth (Sallade) Reiss.

She was a member of Huff’s Union Church, Alburtis.

She was employed as a finisher for Knoll, Inc., East Greenville, until her retirement.

She enjoyed cooking and baking and picnics with the family and swimming.

She is survived by daughters, Debra M., of Mertztown; Sheila D. Hollenbach, of Macungie; sons, Barry L. and his wife Tiffany S. (Swoyer), of Hamburg and Glenn C. and his wife, Judy L. (Erb), of Hereford; sister, Susan (Reiss) Craddock, of Allentown; brothers, Robert Reiss, of Emmaus and David Reiss, of Emmaus; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Shirley Reiss and Gloria Flexer; brother Bruce Reiss.
