David James Hvizdos

David James Hvizdos, 54, of Niskayuna, N.Y., died unexpectedly in his home Nov. 15, 2018. He was the husband of Marilyn (Saks) Hvizdos. They were married for 31 years. He was the son of Leonard and Barbara Hvizdos, of Emmaus.

He will forever be remembered for his quirky laugh and sense of humor, his delight in his children’s many accomplishments, the way he honored his parents and wife, his intelligence and quiet analytical way of living.

He will be remembered for riding his bike through Emmaus and later Niskayuna, being an altar boy for St. Ann Church, working at Chunnie’s Mobile gas station, playing in the Emmaus High School band, enjoying bridge games with family and coworkers, camping and beach vacations with his family, studying and working hard to succeed and to provide a happy life for his family.

He is survived by his wife; parents; children, Audrey (22), Janine (19), and Gregory (17); sisters, Carolyn (Stephen) Wentzel, Kathryn (Anthony) Longo, Alyssa (Monte) DeFrances, Lorraine Douglass, Dianne; brother, Stephen and his fiance Susanne; 10 nieces and nephews with spouses and children of their own; aunts and many cousins.
