Connie L. Fritch, 72, of Mertztown, died Nov. 24, 2018. She was the wife of Craig Roper, with whom she celebrated 31 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Harriet (Baker) Nuver.

She was a graduate of Emmaus High School.

She was employed at Landis Store Hotel and later worked in the care of children. She dedicated her life to the care and rescue of animals.

She is survived by her husband; daughters, Jennifer Freeby and Sara Vaccaro, both of Mertztown; brother, Bruce Nuver, of Macungie; sisters, Laura Davis, of Nazareth, Suzanne Frazier, of Macungie, Nancy Nolf, of Coplay and Rosemary Ondrejca, of Allentown.

Services are private. Arrangements were made by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville.
